Broken Heart

Broken Heart is a series of drawing sessions developed from the Collective Memory Lane project. In this series of works, drawing sessions are expanded from individual participants to groups of people to create works together. For example, in the video, the participant shares memories about her beloved son who passed away during the HIV pandemic in NYC and the group of people beside the participant and I listened to our conversation and then they recreated a body of work. The intent of the project shares how individual memory is transformed into new form by public level and also through the process, what different conditions are occurring among the group of people to define one's memory.
